If your lawn is fairly small, (up to 250 sqm ) you do not want to have to fire up a petrol mower or go to all the trouble and danger of plugging in an electric one. So get the very latest in push mowers and make your afternoons something to look forward to.

Now you can use an eco lawnmower that is a joy to use and makes lawn mowing a breeze. The Brill Razorcut Premium 38 is the very latest push mower from Brill and it really makes grass cutting a pleasure. There is no loud motor noise, just a gentle purr as you push it along.

In this mower the cutting cylinder and bottom blade (made of hardened high-grade steel ) do not touch each other. Therefore, there is no friction between the blades, and this makes the lawnmower easier to push and extremely quiet. It also has the added benefit of increasing the life of the blades significantly.

The ball bearings are sealed so do not need oiling, cleaning or general maintenance so that means less time taken to do the job and no messy clothes either.

It weighs only 7.4 kg (16.6 lbs) so is very easy to get out and put away. The handle even folds down to make it easier too.

At £106.95 incl. VAT (at the time of writing - Sept 2009) this mower is really good value and will last you a very long time.

Note though that manual lawn mowers are not recommended for very uneven lawns and if you do not cut your grass weekly or it becomes too long, then pushing the mower around will be that much harder.
